I stayed up all night digging into my roots. I used to produce house, jungle, and trance music back when I used to DJ, but career got me off the path. My friend came over with his studio mic and sound board and since he is a huge underground hip hop head I got to produce a track and help him write lyrics. Stayed up all night finishing about half the song and even somehow convinced me to do a cameo and throw a half-verse in the sucker. We came out with a decent hip undgeround hop song for two drunk white boys all in one night/morning.
My living room was loud till 5AM ^_^
I wrote the chorus and my own lines and he did his stuff. I did the sound production and loop cycling while he did cleared vocal track editing.
ANYWAY, since this is the first time i've ever recorded myself sing/rap -- I had to share the draft. It's only half done and we may go back to change/clean up some of our stuff. But i'd like to know what anyone who has heard undeground hip hop thinks? My part is at the end of the song, that was our stopping point for the night.
