Before the market droped in early 2002 I had removed my money from my 401K at my old job, and just put it in my bank. When the market did drop I was so glad that I did that. I know people who lost several thousand. After that I have never started a 401K again. I dunno but with so much un-certainty anymore, I don't think I could trust my money in there.
