So, I click over to this site, and on top of the events calendar, on the front page, is a show that my band is playing.
Of course, there are undoubtedly tens of thousands of bands whose shows have been listed on SG's front page (especially as it seems a bit random which events get listed there, and they change with every refresh), but still, I couldn't help but feel somewhat excited by it.
But enough about me. The show is actually about raising money for Bonni Suval, who was the victim of a hit and run driver last month, and who currently faces many months and tens of thousands of dollars worth of rehabilitation. So, if you're an SG member living in the Seattle area (and you happen to read this... which is probably unlikely, as I'm not a particularly prominent member of this site. What can I say... I'm really just here for the pictures.) come on out. It's a terrific line-up, for a terrific cause.
