The trip to San Antonio went well. I usually fly there, but this time one of my friends was driving down for a wedding so I hitched a ride with him. It was a long drive thanks to all the traffic, especially in Austin. On the way down we passed a lot of farmland and I decided to draw an old farmer sitting on his porch.


My nieces party was kind of fun. About as much as you could have a Peter Piper Pizza, you know, shitty pizza, games with the kids, relatives I haven't seen in months, etc. I brought my camera since I'm pretty much the official photographer of family events and always get handed a camera if I don't bring one. I took just over 200 photos (Once I got home, I whittled it down to about 65 photos for the album.) and got some really good stuff in there.

I also Saw the Omen and Cars this weekend. The Omen wasn't all that great. It was just kind of going through the paces and never really got as unsettling as the original. I did really enjoy Cars, although it wasn't Pixar's best. They haven't made a bad movie yet and this one is, as always, a fun time. Now I want to go buy the first three Pixar movies since I don't have them.

This wednesday is the RX Bandits show at the Gypsy Tea Room! I can't wait to see these guys live. Hope to see some of you there.
