My parents came into town this weekend and my Mom cooked all this food for me. It's awesome, I'll be eating home cookin' for three weeks. No more toaster leavin's for me. smile My Mom rocks.

Regarding the Powerbook - Don't be jealous. I wanted one, I bought one, they aren't that good. Really, it's already got a knackered Superdrive after a month, it keeps hanging, the WiFi is shite, and I've burnt off six layers of skin off my lap. Be happy with your HP, they're good machines - don't believe the Mac hype! I should have bought that Toshiba!

Today I learned the hard way, what terrors await you when you do a google image search for "manhole". Honestly I was looking for a reference image of a street portal to the underground. But, no, the internet is a filthy entity and turns my innocence into ruin.

I keep hearing that, actually. Even before I started on the novels I kept hearing that the last few have dropped into lame pits of poor story and useless sex. hmm, I'll get there sooner or later. I may push them back a tad after this next novel with Edward in it.

My trip to San Antonio went well. It was good to see my family again. I got back just in time to make it to the SG DFW bowling event. It rocked! I got to know a bunch of local members and every one was pretty damn cool. I'm looking forward to going out to more events.
