So my visit to Santa Cruz basically makes me want to say "FUCK YOU" to high school (not that I didn't before...). I think we're returning next week for Monday night through Wednesday morning.. and I'm going to try to make it to the Queer Fashion Show next Saturday because I hear it's a blast.
I've pretty much decided on Porter as my college of choice... my friend Bryan and I infiltrated all of Stevenson (ie waited outside until someone came and unlocked the doors and then creepily followed them in). We sort of based our judgments on the things people posted outside the walls of their rooms - shallow? Maybe. But image is everything! Well, not everything, but let's just say.. aesthetics matter to me a lot, and I tend to like people who exude their personality on all levels. Said people seem to be the most fun, interesting, and secure about themselves. Whatever the case, Porter had cooler stuff plastered on the walls.. plus, it's closer to the arts dept.
Hell, we were coming back from SC on 4/20.. had to stop and take that pic.
