I am so super duper happy and bubbly today, well I was ill for starters but ho hum. I have now in the past day sketched over 15 people :-) and the sketches look fabby. I have also been scanning over the lyrics for the album I am recording next weekend, making final tweaks to them, I cant wait. I am working with two top producers on it in a top secret location and it is going to be absolutely mind blowing!
I turn 20 on wednesday, I was going to be out partying with my mates, but as I now have only a month to get this album done I have decided to save my celebrations until I am back in Germany. :-) And then hopefully we can set up a few shows, test the water with a few unplugged gigs and see what people think of the tunes we have come up with :-). It wont disappoint, the lyrics have taken me a long time to write, some are personal about people who I love passing away and some are the good old feel good tunes that just make people want to sing along.
I have never felt so confident about anything before in my life. 2010 is definatly going to be the year for me. I have changed so much. I am done with stupid people telling me I am ugly and putting me down, I dont care. What makes me a better person is not going at you back.
My buddha necklace should arrive tomorrow as well, I can't carry my statue around with me sadly, even though if I could I would because it's pink, but I can now carry the Buddha with me everyday, to give me luck and calmness.
I also found my old mobile phone while sorting out the kitchen, its really cute as it is covered in Hello Kitty, I love it :-).
The next few weeks are going to be proper manic. Firstly recording at my good friends studio, then recording at the producers studio, writing more lyrics for the next album, and going back to Germany! I love it, right now as life is more hectic for me I am really enjoying it, plus the people I have met along the way I know are going to be beside me for a very long time. They really are the best bunch of people ever! No cattiness no bitching, nothing.
On the parts of my music magazine, the date has now been changed, however we are still online! Just due to this schedule starting up the publication will not be released until later on in the year when things have calmed down a bit. :-)
I hope everyone else can say that 2010 is the year for them as well. Screw following a band around on tour, make your own, go on tour yourself. Trust me, the feeling of stepping on to a stage with a crowd of people waiting to see you...well NOTHING beats it :-)
