tonight I'm studying in my room, but I wish somebody was here studying me... calculating my freckles, collecting my kisses, measuring my heartbeat and syncing up to my breathing.
i'd read to you from my diary and we could laugh at the past.
i'd let you open my drawers, see what I have, pick what records we put on, pick what clothes we take off.

wishing you would take me away from my books and book a night with me instead
