Made it to Oregon, and we're now in the process of unpacking the hundreds of boxes that have contained our lives for the last year. It's kind of surreal, finding things I haven't seen for so long. Makes me realize I probably have way more stuff than I need. I guess it's time to purge again. Not quite sure where to begin, but I guess I'll start setting things aside as I unpack my life. Hoping to find some new friends soon. Have some friends coming down from Washington this weekend, but it would be nice to find people to hang out with during the week. Wes seems to be having an easy time making friends at school, hopefully the moms here will be nicer than the ones at his last school. They seem to be more willing to say hi. At least the mom of his newest friend introduced herself to me today. Now to finish unpacking and get the house in order so we can arrange a play date!
All in all, missing the family and friends back home, but still positive about the future. We have a lot of adjusting to do, but we'll make it.
