TGIF!!!!! Been a really long brutal week at the office! Wish I could talk the boss into either hooking us up with comp time or pay me straight time.... don't care about Over Time pay but when we've been putting in +50 hour weeks for a while now it sure would be nice to get a little extra for the hard work. However, on the flip side I can't complain. A lot of other folks are out of work so being busy at work is a good problem to have!
Have a road trip tomorrow, but not the usual excitement surrounding this one. Going to be meeting up with my folks on the Eastern Shore of Maryland to exchange the pup dog. Much earlier than I'd like to do it this year but with the Outer Banks vacation around the corner I need to get her to them and would rather do it this weekend than next with all the holiday traffic. Ole girl is 15 years old and going strong. Thanks in part to the folks taking her for the "winter" but we usually make the change in late October or Thanksgiving. So the end of August sure feels a little too soon. However, all the people that I get to watch her are going to OBX with me. I've sneaked her in more than enough hotels but a whole week a the beach is a little hard to pull off. I'd probably try it if the rental agency wasn't 50 yards down the road. The last thing I need is to get caught with her on the third day and get kicked out of the house. Would NOT be cool!! So she's headed back to the county for the time being. Sure gonna miss having her around!!!!
On the flip side it'll be really good to see my folks for a few hours. Don't get home nearly as often as I should so it will be nice to visit with them for a bit.
I almost forgot. For anyone who remembers the moe. theme submission and voting I'm happy to report that my suggestion made the bands choice list and is now up on jambands.com for voting. I submitted Summer of Love. Absolutely thrilled that the band actually liked my suggestion. At this point I don't even care what the theme for the Halloween show ends up being (lol)

I't's nice to see that you appreciate your being employed, despite some ups amd downs about the job itself. I'd like to find another p/t job, as I put the money to good use from my census job. Well, if you consider going to fetish parties and such "good use". Of course there was also my trip to see my family that the money from the job paid for.
