Sunday night blues are kicking in. Especially after a great weekend. Girlie and I went into NYC yesterday, saw a really cool Grateful Dead exhibit, complete with back stage passes, test pressings of records, one of Jerry's guitars, Pig Pen's harmonica and all sorts of cool stuff like that. Then we went to Village and walked around a bit. Stumbled upon a little street fair, I didn't get anything but saw lots of neat stuff. Followed by a decent meal at a little cafe.
Both of us are out of shape and had been saying for months that we needed to get our act together. But of course hadn't really done much about it. I actually started doing my morning push ups for about a week and that fell by the wayside. So I took her to the store and today bought us tennis rackets and balls. We proceeded to "play" some tennis for a good long while this afternoon. Was so good to be outside running around for a bit.

I saw most of the game earlier today. That was a huge win. Maybe this is the magical year that's been a long time coming. Winnning the Cup would help deal with the disappointment of the White Sox turning out to be so putrid this year.
