Oh how I love lazy Sunday's. Been a busy weekend so very nice to have a chill rainy day to relax. If it were sunny out I'd feel like I needed to do something ya know.

Got to watch the Devils warm up from the penalty box last night at The Rock. Was such a great experience!!! We walked through the back parts of the arena and popped out of a tunnel right there at the box. Was literally inches away from greatness.

About half way through my favorite player, David Clarkson #23, noticed that I was wearing his jersey and gave me a quick head nod. Next thing I know he's shooting pucks at me, and then came skating over at full speed with a s#$% eating grin on his face and totally checked the glass right there in front of me. He's one wild & crazy character!

A few of the players made it a point to give us smile or wave. Clarkson even grabbed two pucks from the trainers and tossed them into the box for the 2 little kids that were in there with us. Of course I would have liked one of those but understand that can't give everybody who's a fan something like that. I still get chills when I think about it. Shutting out Carolina was the cherry on top of a great evening.

I'm gonna see about getting some pics of last night up. My camera was on the fritz but I got a few pics and my girlie got a whole bunch too. So I'll get a few up now and add some more when I gets hers.
