Sunday mornings are always so nice here at the beach. Especially when it is a bit cloudy, which keeps the tourists at bay a bit. A week to go until "Local Summer" kicks in..... the weather is still nice but no crowds. I'll be able to put a lot of my favorite restaurants and bars back on the rotation.

After having lived at the beach now for 8 years I have a new understanding and sympathy for those of us who live at "your destination". I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but is it really necessary to be blasting club music at 2 am on a Wednesday right outside my house? Some of us aren't on vacation and need to go to work in the morning. And don't even get me started on the parking situation, or lack there of.

Girlie and I are planning on seeing the new Harry Potter movie this afternoon. Would you believe that we've been together since last fall and this will be our first "movie date"? Then again we have a flippin' fantastic time just chillin' out around the house. I'll probably be back on here bitching about the price, the people who wouldn't shut up, cell phones ringing and missing a great park because I had to take a leak.
