what a busy few weeks.... went into the city and saw moe. last weekend, followed by a buddy of mine getting married on valentine's day. at least the cold i'd been fighting finally went away before that crazy fun weekend.
got some cool news this week at the office, getting to head down to Orlando in two weeks at attend two meetings. will be nice to get away for a few days and enjoy some warm weather (i hope). I'll have about a day and a half of free time between meetings which is really cool, business travel usually does not work out that way. I'll be "working" from the hotel on my free day, which means I'll probably be sitting by the pool
The cherry on top is that I'm planning on visiting my friend Re-re, who I've not seen in something like 14 years. She was one of my really good friends at college, down in NC, who transferred after our sophomore year. I'm gonna show my age now, but this was back before everyone had cell phones & email, so one tended to lose touch with people ya know. Anyway, a mutual friend of ours tracked me down and I've been able to reconnect with a few of these great friends who had basically disappeared and have a lot of visits in the planning stages for those that are closer. But getting the trip down to FL was a total surprise and I can't wait to see her!!!!
Heading to Long Island this evening for the first time. The girl I've been seeing got some tickets to the Islanders game through her work. So it's a double first time event for me. First time to Long Island and the first away game for the Devils. Should be a good time. We're going with another couple, so should be a good time.

Sounds like it will be a great trip. Seeing people you haven't seen in years can be unpredictable. I looked up someone I was close with growing up after not being in touch for over 15 years. He was nothing like I remembered him, and I mean that in a bad way. I hope it will e a more pleasant experience for you than it was for me.
I can easily top you with the showing one's age thing. When I was growing up the only phones people had were black rotary ones.
