Modern travel completely amazes me some times. Was looking at the Atlantic Ocean this morning and now I'm looking at the Pacific Ocean as I type. How crazy is it that what once took weeks and weeks to travel can be done in a matter of hours..... guess one can already guess that I'm on the West Coast. This is my first time in San Diego and I'm totally bummed for two, well maybe three reasons. 1. It's a business trip 2. I'm in town for less than 24 hours and 3. Miss C is not here with me to enjoy it. However, on the bright side this trip pushed me over the minimum limit to get special frequent flyer status with the carrier I typically use. So for the next year I'll get a few extra perks. Gotta keep thinking the glass is half full rather than half empty.

I hate flying. It's not so much the flying itself, it's the security check, the boarding, the taxiing, the fact that they list the flight time for two and a half hours when the actual time in the air is about one hour and forty five minutes, etc.
