Oh how I absolutely love "local summer"!!!!! Living in a little seaside town is fantastic but as it is with everything it does have it's pros & cons. One con being the amount of tourists that come every summer. Know that a lot of local business rely on the money spent but that still does not mean that us locals are sorry to see them go.
The past two weekends have been so great!!!!!! I've not come close to getting hit by a car while walking the dog, didn't have to wait an hour for a table at the restaurant down the street from my place, and getting a beer at the bar seems to be taking place in record time
Will be sitting on the beach here in a few hours and will enjoy yet another lazy "local summer" afternoon!!!!
