This time next week I'll be in the Black Stallion (aka my truck) heading south to see my folks and drop off the dog. Then I'll be leaving on a jet plane for good ole Austin TX!!
Will be a bit strange to be away for nearly a month. But on the flip side I scored a really cool place to stay. Rather than a regular hotel I'm getting put up in an extended stay place where I've got a one bedroom suite, with a living room & a fully loaded kitchen. So much for eating junk food outta a vending machine for weeks on end. Not to mention that this place as an outdoor pool. Come to think about it, I've been living a few blocks from the beach for 5 years and don't think I've taken a dip in the pool all that time.
