So, Happy Valentine's Day everyone....
I actually had a pretty good day....after I analyzed every little thing that was said (or not said), I realized I was overreacting. It was a normal Monday, the best friend took me out to lunch, then was working when lo and behold, my doorbell rang.....and there were:


The boy sent me flowers.... He claims to not like Valentine's Day....the card even says "Happy Monday"....Very sweet of him...really made my day!! I think they are beautiful.... I actually may have teared up a little when I got them!!!

So this weekend was just great. Friday night was date night with the boy....take out and a movie....with my new lingerie ...good times!! Saturday night, now that's another story!! We watched the UNC-Charlotte game and the Duke/Maryland game while partaking in a few beverages of choice.....during which my best friend J manages to get TRASHED!!! We head downtown to a club.....on the way, J passes out completely. Can't wake him up, nada. So, we leave him in the car. One of my other friends can't get in because he has flip-flops on....so he goes out to the car and takes J's shoes off his feet!! We were there for a few hours. I saw my ex, who is apparently working there part-time as a bouncer....good to see him, things are going well. We then head to a different bar, and leave J in the car....AGAIN!! Then it's off to the same apartment we started at, ending with a little slumber party with 3 of my boys....good times!!

Yesterday, I actually went to the see the ex. I had a CD with some pictures on it and needed to give it to him, and he got 2 puppies that I had to go meet!! They are the cutest things. It seems I am friends with most of my exes....I mean, hell, at one time we had enough in common to date, so why would we hate each other now? It was nice to catch up, I wish him the best.

I realized today how much I try to read into everything people say/do....especially people I am dating. I know I am impatient...but I really need to learn to just let things happen....any ideas on how to get that working?? I just always am trying to read what's behind the actual words or lack thereof....

So this week should be fun....might be going out for my one boy's birthday....Wednesday night is school night....Volleyball on Thursday...and who knows what the weekend will hold. My friend invited me down to Wilmington again, so we'll see on that one.....I'd love to have another date though...
