Happy Monday everyone! 
I hope you all had great weekends, I know I did!! I went to see a friend of mine who lives a few hours away, and had a great time. I got in around 6 or so, went to dinner with his mom. Then we went out to a cute little bar (where I got to wear my cute new shirt) where I danced with every person there I think!! 
Then yesterday, we did absolutely NOTHING!! Got up around noon, played on the net for a bit, where he made me ringers for my phone, then got some grub and watched the game. I had planned on leaving yesterday after lunch, but ended up staying until this morning. It was really nice getting away for a few days!!
While I was there, he and I did a lot of talking about dreams and goals in life. I have realized that I have really simple goals. I don't care if I make a million dollars in my lifetime, and honestly, it probably isn't going to happen. I don't care what kind of car I drive, or how big of a house I live in.
When I think about the life that I *WANT* to live, it is actually pretty simple. What I want? Here goes...
**I want to be financially stable. I want to be able to pay all the bills, have a little fun, and still put a little in the bank. Now, of course, if I have some job that pays me $50 mil, I won't turn it down!!
**I want to have a job I enjoy. In the past, I have had jobs I don't like, and I hate that dread that you get. I love my job now, and enjoy the people I work with, and would be glad to see that continued.
**I want a happy, loving family. A husband that is my friend as well as my lover, and has no problems telling me the way he feels. Ther's no doubt he will know how I feel about him. Children, the number isn't important, as long as they know they are loved and supported no matter what they do. I want to be the kind of mom that is in the kitchen making birthday cupcakes for my babies....the kind of mom that is there no matter what, and my kids feel comfortable talking to me about anything.
**I couldn't ask for better family and friends than I have now, so as long as they continue the way they are, I will be happy.

I've definitely been slow on the family startin' tip... I think my career became such a driving force that I neglected any sincere attempts at starting a family... but as they say, I'm no spring chicken... need to get on that sooner or later (which, of course, brings us back to the selfish game... viscious cycle).
What do you do from home for work? I would LOVE to work more from home...
