My wife came down this weekend. It was great to see her after 5 months,
but now its even harder being without her. We went to a 3 day concert
down here. Bands like papa roach and shit like that. It was fun for what
it was. Everclear played and I can get down with them. We got beer
munchies at two in the morning and wandered into straightedge bar. In
other words you can drink but no smoking. Can you believe that? Kinda
defeats the purpose of straightedge. Anyway we ordered some food and
quickly realised that philly cheesesteak didn't have cheese or steak.
Needless to say it took a lot of jaegermeister to get the taste out of
my mouth. They told me it was a vegan bar so I pointed out that the
guiness stout everyone is drinking is drained through vats full of black
angus beef in ireland to give it that thicker flavor. That's why guiness
tastes like blood. They all got pretty upsest and I thought it was
funny. They should've done their research.
