The fashion show is tomorrow! Pics as soon as I have'em. The models wearing my looks are sweet and gorgeous and tiny! Sweet Jesus, I had to tuck inches into the seams so that I can re-fit them to myself after the show. And after all of my work is done and the garments are dropped off for the rehearsal, the inevitable question: now what am I going to wear? So I spent the morning whipping up a little shirt out of black jersey and old shoes, and perfecting a pair of pole-wrapped and thioxed jeans that I had not quite completed earlier in the semester.

But my nasturtiums are coming up and my gerber daisies look fatally gorgeous. I wore one in my hair for work Wednesday and everyone asked me if it was real. Until it started wilting, which gerber daisies do after about five hours or so in one's hair.

And I've started shopping around for a new bike. I agreed to do a 38-mile ride to raise money for a cure for cancer, and I just can't do it on my chunk of a mountain bike. It's really about time I grow up and invest in a real bike anyway. I take that thing everywhere: grocery store, laundromat, the fabric store. It just pains me because every bike I have ever had has been vandalized and I hate to put a lot of money into it.
