Been burning the candle at both ends lately, as the kids are saying. Working on a line of clothing for school called "Post-Apocalyptic Warrior." Today I finished a fur bikini for it, now working on distressed chaps and armor made out of forks to complete the look. I think I enjoy designing because of the immediate gratification: after I am done I have this thing I can hold up and say, "I made this."

Five of my pieces were accepted to my school's juried fashion show on May Day. Two are unfinished, one hasn't even been started yet. And a week after finals I have agreed to organize a fashion show as part of the entertainment for an art exhibition hosted by an art collective that my boyfriend is in, Secret Ingredient.

Not that I have enough on my plate, but I'm a big pussy that can't say "no" and wound up working five shifts last weekend. Well, at least I have rent taken care of. Maybe I should think about catching up on that sleep...
