Yay! My new Canon TS-E 90 mm tilt-shift has arrived! Now I just have to find the time and subjects to practice using it. I'm hoping tilt-shift isn't going to be as complicated as some people I've talked to have made it sound.
It's supposed to give a new level of creativity by allowing one to change the plane of focus, while still keeping a narrow depth of field. With some images -- I've seen cars, buildings and such like this -- it makes them look almost like toys. I haven't seen much yet done involving nudes, but the few I've seen have been interesting.
Hopefully, I'll have something soon I can post here from it. I'm meeting a model tonight to discuss an upcoming shoot and you can bet this lens is going to get used at least a few times when that shoot happens!
