@tokki yeah my bff went walking without our usual group up to Keswick a few weeks back, got stuck in the floods! Personally think that's karma!! It's okay, though, the George was safe! Skiddaw might not be the most popular walk with the trekkers but it's got some stunning views on a clear day. Love it.

@alpharius haha yeah we've got a big Somali community here and a couple of Pakistani guys that keep us topped up on our barbecued halal! Best thing about Leicester is the multicultural cuisine, you name it we can get it. For a fairly small city we're quite blessed.

@sosbanfach That's great! I do have relatives in Cardiff & London that I visit on occasion so it's nice to say the Somali folk trekking outside the South for a change. Though after realizing that a significant number of the diaspora have settled in Sweden, Norway, Denmark & Finland as well the northern American States of Minnesota & Maine. I'm starting to have suspicions that Somali's might've been Scandinavians in another life ;)
