So, yesterday I went to a cafe in Shibuya where you can casually chill with some owls. Why not?!

They're not stuffed, by the way, they're actual owls just hanging out.

@alpharius it would literally not surprise me if there is a sphinx cafe somewhere in Tokyo.

@sosbanfach believe me, it was said in jest, the last thing I would want to be in proximity to would be a sphinx. One of my most recurring nightmares (29 years now) involves being harried by one. The fact that our favorite far eastern weirdos would come up with one both amazes & terrifies me in equal measure. Mind you, you should tell me the next time you plan on going back, you need a proper drinking buddy to tag along ;)

They bloody did it! Amazing, I have been trying to convey to my non-football liking friends just what a mega achievement this really is.

It's incredibly difficult to explain. Especially to fans of American sports where there really isn't an equivalent, due to the nature of US team sports. The city has gone absolutely apeshit though. Scenes. Monday night was ridiculous.
