OK, so I'm in Atlanta, and this whole National Cable show is nuts. To start with, it's being held in this convention center that's easily 4 city blocks in length, and the show runs the whole length, 4 floors, plus part of the adjacent building. My feet hurt already after only the first day.

I successfully pulled apart my powerbook and put it back together again with a new hard drive. 37 screws the size of a drop of water. No wonder they assemble these things in asia with child labor - you need those tiny fingers!

Oh yeah, and I watched The Unbearable Lightness of Being over the course of a couple of nights. Blockbuster.com doesn't mention that the movie actually spans both disks, so there was a couple day interruption while I waited for the second one. It's a long movie, but worth it. One of the sex scenes had me laughing my ass off

I finished my taxes! The refund was effectively spent yesterday on a season pass for next year, and a new hard drive for my powerbook. 40 Gigs seemed large when I bought it, but that didn't stop me from filling it up over the past couple years.
