On the eve of Halloween, death no longer stalks me quite to closely. This is good.

samling asked if I was looking forward to snowboard season. Let's see....

• Snowboard has been waxed and tuned for the past month and a half.
• Gear is all ready to go in a Rubbermaid tub - Put that and my board in the car, and I'm off.
• I check the ski area webcams daily.
• At least 1/3rd of the videos I've watched in the past week have been snowboard related.
• I get a maniacal grin at the mention of snow.

Yeah, I'm a little excited for it.
