I went to hopey's 666 party last night and got to meet some of the SG Seattle crew. Good people would be the short summary. samling has the list of partygoers that I won't bother to duplicate, along with a good summary of the first impression I make on most people. Suffice to say, it was nice to meet these folks.
I'll have to wait and see if I get invited back after winning all the money in the poker game. I'm truly not that good at poker. I think that was only the 5th or 6th game I've played, and the first time I've won the pot. Being sober through the whole thing and not overly distracted probably helped.
I paid for it of course with a night of insomnia. I'm not sure who, but I think somebody put a hex on their money. I have a meeting with a witch-doctor later to uncover the culprit.
