I want to say that Folk Life rocks, even though I didn't hear any rock. Instead, I heard arabic, peruvian, blue grass, celtic, and traditional japanese shakuhachi played by a master.
Yesterday was one of those days at work where I spent at least two hours quite literally gritting my teeth. I at least was able to communicate to a higher up that his understanding is nowhere near reality. He sat in the last half hour of that meeting with a look of shock on his face sitting limp in his chair.

I shaved off my goatee today. I think it's been a year since I last did that, but at the time, grew it back almost immediately. I think I'll stay clean shaven for a while this time.

I may either have to join a group and project I don't have any interest in whatsoever, or join Merritt in laid-off land in the not too distant future. Honestly, the latter might be a good thing for me, though I think I would prefer to have it occur around December so I can do the snowboard bum thing.
