i had an absolutely wonderful xmas. i got to see all my mom's side of the family - fortunantely, or unfortunately, i still live near them all and none of them have moved out of the area really. you never know if that's a good or a bad thing. anyways, everytime we all get together it's madness - tons of my cousins' kids running around and a whole bunch of crass women who have been through way too many assholes of boyfriends or husbands all sitting around bitching about this and that and whatnot. it's fucking hilarious - it should be a sitcom in and of itself. and my little cousin is so cute - she's 3 and so adorable -except she's got this little problem of farting a little too often and running away laughing and screaming "i tooted, i tooted!". ahh the joys of the holdays and kids.

well, i hope you all had nice holidays as well - i'd have to say, the holidays usually do not bring me much joy- it's always the time of year where folks are breaking up or other shitty things tend to happen. maybe somebody thought that this year i'd get a break.

on another note- i think i'm going to see the 2nd lord of the rings tonight - i'm excited, hopefully by midway through the 2nd hour i won't start falling asleep. i seriously need to start getting some sleep soon....
