i had a really wonderful domestic night. keeping in mind that the holidays are yet another time that i feel way to broke and overwhelmed and never able to buy everyone all the lovely things i would like to--- i decided that making creative little gifts for all my friends and family is the way to go this year. so i'm making candles and lotions and chapsticks and pictureframes and potted plants from cuttings and more freaking cookies than you know what to do with. i mean, i would much rather have some really neat homemade gift that i could feasibly use (and appreciate the creativity and time that went into it) than something you know that you'll ever fucking use or enjoy and then just feel really bad for the other person actually putting energy into cstressing about what to get you and then ending up getting that.... ahh. more run on sentences.
