Hey SG Land! Time to catch up with some @bloghomework! So recently it was Suicidegirls sweet 16 and we've been asked to share a little bit about ourselves when we were 16....
To be honest there aren't a lot of photos of me at 16, but I did a bit of digging and I've found a few!
At 16 it was my last year of school and i left in the summer to go to college. It was the longest and hottest summer I remember! Those blonde highlights, silver eyeshadow- we were such cool kids 🤓
I spent it with most of my friends, going to parties, hanging out in the sunshine. One of my friends always had the best parties. (Which is where most of these photos came from 🤗)
One of my oldest besties, we've been friends since we were 9 years old! And we always partied together, and we always had such a great time! I know I can count on her and talk to her about anything, and she's turned into a beautiful professional woman who gets what she wants!
Having fun didn't always consist of alcohol, we would go to BBQ's, birthday parties and just chill out together. we liked to dress up, smart or in fancy dress!
This was right before I chopped all my hair off. It used to reach down my back, and my dad was so upset when I came home one day with no hair- but I loved it!
Whenever I see these pictures, they never fail to make me smile. All the memories (or lack of) 😝 My friends make me so happy. Now we are all grown ups, trying to adult, buying houses, getting married, having (fur) babies (or real ones) and having responsible adult jobs 😂
We've swapped the house parties for "sophisticated" dinner parties, and games nights. But we still have such fun when we see each other xx
One last picture of from my prom. I had such a great evening. Seeing all the girls in their beautiful gowns, and the guys looking all dashing in the suits. 🤧
Unfortunately I don't have a picture of me and my prom date handsome jack. We had a picture taken together and my mum has it somewhere in her box of memories. If I find it I'll make sure to upload it!
