Very interesting post with some great advice. Young love is... tricky, to say the least. I'm glad you got out of that rather unpleasant relationship, though. Some people never manage to, unfortunately. And you're right about learning to drive. Earlier is easier. No doubt about that. As to the mermaid thing, gosh, yes! I can definitely see that.
