Mkay, I'm back.
The flight was horrible. I was so tired, frustrated and annoyed by occurences such as crying babies on my 9-hour flight, thick customs clerks, and sirens going off that I ended up crying like a little girl on the Newark-Chicago flight.
I had an okay time. The best part was the only instance when I had the chance to meet a friend alone (Joe wanted to stay in). Over a glass of water, we caught up with each other, just like we used to do in our "straightedge days". Then we went to his 16-floor apartment building with the initial intention of getting high on the roof. However, our attempts to open the lock on the door leading to the roof proved futile. Instead, we smoked in a decadent attic. It started to get scary from then on, as I become quite paranoid after a good joint, which the one we smoked certainly was. We went on this bus and he talked for the continuation of the trip while I listened to everything else but him. See, I believe my communication skills to be below normal, especially after the use of certain herbs.
I'm bored and lonely so I shall go wander now.
