And I am terribly depressed.

EDIT: Fuck this! I put it back in. Weird how surgical it all was. Don the latex gloves. Flush the wound with a 1cc syringe of Betadine. Clean with 70% ethanol. Get your employer to let you use their autoclave on your jewelry. Apply a secondary antiseptic (Chlorhexadine gluconate) to the jewelry. Wince as you push the rod through your body nearly eight hours after removing it.
Repeat twice daily (minus the eight hours out bit).
Ooh. I'm dizzy.

tea trea or eucaliptus oil, or alcohol.
any of those will make your piercing smell a lil bit better.
beware though, anything that is in a coconut oil base may go rancid, even before the shelflife of 2 years. I know from working at a job that sells that shit.
