I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again. 
Life is taking me for the proverbial spin.
Things are going to be rather interesting in the next few weeks. I'll be curious to see what manifests next.
So, as some of you may know by now, my wife and I are going through a seperation. So we're kind of going public with it now, so as to clue in our friends and family and whoever else wants to know. I'm not sure what will happen, but we're friends first, and that helps. We don't hate each other (most of the time
) and we're not in the midst of an ugly, mean-spirited fight to the death. We just come to a crossroads and have to evaluate our respective lives and fix some issues we've been struggling with for some time now. Neither one of us wants to end things...we just want to make things better if we can. This is life.
So, in the meantime, I leave you with this:
Was walkin one day in my usual way when a black cat crossed my path made me change direction
Stopped, turned around, 'cause it was unfound that I could finally make the connection
I didn't want to stray, but I had to turn away.
I didn't want to say it was superstition.
The admission was that I'd rather go fishin'
Into the mountains....

Hold onto that friendship. It will make a huge difference as you travel through life. Even the judge at our divorce said we were unlike any divorcing couple she had ever come across and wished that every proceeding was like ours.
