i just had to throw a bunch of books in the dumpster... i almost cried! for my job i am cleaning out her bookshelves, and there were lots that she didn't want & that the used bookstore couldn't take. i took all the ones i want to read home with me, but the rest went in the stanford dumpster. it was strange what a visceral reaction i had to the physical act of throwing those once-loved books into a big pile of forgotten paper. sad. yes, i am a total bookworm/nerd. i even dressed up as a bookworm for halloween once; that was a great costume.
