salad greens, cilantro, basil sneaking its smell outside the plastic bag.

a bunch of bold, jolly radishes.
the temptation of sage cheddar was just too much for me.
mundane broccoli, arrogant-looking green beans, and i managed to pass up the kumquats and the new spring strawberries.
i love the farmer's market! it's even more beautiful in the rain because everything glows under the grey canvas awnings, everyone is silly and a little manic trying not to get too wet. I thought I lost my ATM card but then I found it in my pocket.
You know you've really sunk to new depths when you're making bibliographies for the papers you haven't written yet to procrastinate...
I went to this really awesome art show last night, watercolors by Cherry Hood, from the JT LeRoy book "Harold's End." they were so lovely I almost cried. If I'd had 15 grand I totally would have bought one. so instead I ate free cheese and felt mysterious and glamorous because I was there alone and hardly anyone else was. I met a mischievous looking man named Joey who gave me an American Spirit (it made me dizzy). I wanted to stay longer but I left before it was over.
