Dude I had no idea the Streets would be so awesome! They were all wearing matching Streets t-shirts, and it was just savage. The orange palm tree backdrop was glowing behind the Fillmore's crystal chandeliers as Mike Skinner poured vodka into the baby bird-like open mouths of the crowd and brave Darren ("that man's in lycra!" sounds great in a brit accent) downed 7 shots of brandy. Then Skinner took off his shirt and jumped off the goddamn balcony. Although I could understand only maybe 1/2 of what he was saying, it was all the right songs and I am very impressed. He's really torn up about that girl, though... bummer.
Then that boy who I am crazy about told me that I make him wired like a 14 year old, feelin like the first time he ever noticed a girl... then we walked home from the Fillmore to my house and -- I had a glorious night. That's a fucking long walk, btw.
