The big stack of books has arrived. I'm currently plowing through the most recent Richard Morgan sci-fi at breakneck speed. Also I have measured the last remaining space in my room that will fit a bookshelf. I think I will need someone to make it for me since its an odd width. Is that usually expensive?

ate many oysters today. it seems that every few weeks i spend a weekend day sitting in the sun eating my fill of oysters. don't get me wrong, i enjoy this so very very much. its just that a few hours later i have an empty stomach. like now. i'm starving.

I won my companies 'make a playlist for the employee that is leaving' contest. My prize was a cocktail. I collected this prize at the Orbit Room in the form of a Mojito. First one ever. It was ok but I can see how one can drink 4 of them and then fall down. Perhaps thats the point.
