A man dumped his new phone onto my lap today on the 21. I didn't know what to do other than hand it back to him. I think that he was looking to talk to someone, regardless of any response. I said nothing but he seemed happy just to chat at me.
I got off the bus several stops before mine because I didn't know how to handle him. I really have no idea how to interact with strangers.
Which made me think of the DNC people outside my building today. They will go up to every and anyone. I have to respect that. I could barely sell candy bars to randoms as a boy scout, I couldn't imagine stopping someone to discuss political views.
