Happy Spooky Season, 🎃
I was so excited when I saw the assigned blog homework for this week. I am an avid horror movie lover and honestly, have probably been watching scary movies before it was age-appropriate. I had to think hard and long about this one, as there are many films that I adore but for different reasons. I decided I would go with my all-time, nostalgic favourites. These movies are the ones that really got me hooked on the genre and everything to do with horror, they are also comfort movies that I can always go back and watch!
SAW (2004)
Saw's iconic scenes and plotline has stuck with me throughout the years and was one movie that once I watched, I was obsessed.
SCREAM (2000)
Scream is such a classic, and although not the scariest out of the horror options, I have to give it points for it's ability to create it's own aesthetic and feel within the genre. (Also, just look at that cast)
CHILD'S PLAY (1988)
I was first introduced to the Chucky franchise quite young, and maybe that's why it has such a dear spot in my heart. The original film is still my absolute favourite though!
