Life and death are odd things... they both happen, sometimes with lots of planning and prep, and othertimes with none whatsoever.
My little brother (17) and his girlfriend (a fresh 16) gave birth this morning to a baby girl. Now, the idea of having a kid at even 25 (which, assuming I got someone preg tomorrow, would be my age once the child was born) scares the fuck out of me. I have no idea how this will all turn out for my little brother, but I hope he knows that I am there for him, however I can help... which... isn't much.
So here is the tally
Hank -24 - no (known) kids.
Lauren, my sister - 22 - One 3 year old, and she is now 3 months pregnant.
Blake, my brother, 17 - One brand spanking new kid.
Here's to hoping that this new little girl, is half as cool as the ever so rad baby Michael... who isn't so much a baby any more...

I flipped out when I had found out I had gotten a girl pregnant (she told me after the miscarriage). It's really wierd to think about as a young man
