The (new?) Alexisonfire CD is pretty good. It is a very odd cd, but good nonetheless.
I made my friend a mix cd the other day, and last night we went out to dinner. Much to my, well.. shock... his favorite songs on the cd were the Sleater-Kinney and Bratmobile songs I put on there. So last night he asked me to burn him a cd with those two bands, and he wants to go to the SK show next month. How fucking cool is that?
Picked up all 3 of the DVDs Netflix had of Rollins spoken stuff. Watched 1 of them so far, and made copies of them. Piracy is the greatest. Netflix is the greatest. I also picked up these two El Duce DVDs off of Ebay. One is supposed to be a documentary about his life. The other, a documentary of the recording of one of his albums. It is said that "watch as El Duce breaks down and cries because he runs out of beer". Should be pretty funny stuff.
Social D in two nights. Thanks the lord. I am determined to leave DC around 1 or so, get to Allentown around 4, and have a few hours to look for shit to photograph. Wish me luck in finding interesting things. I haven't photographed anything since I have been back, granted the shitty weather didn't help.

Bratmobile is pretty good from what I have heard as well.
