why am i too cool for virginia?
last night, i brought the rock... no doubt
laceyglove, gersguy,mallenfoto and vinyle brought the motherfucking roll.
Alexandria VA can't handle us.
On another note, I was supposed to roll to the Baltimore to bring the rock, while Gers and Vinyle were bringin the roll... but since I haven't been to sleep since I got up at 6am Friday... not sure that is going to happen now.
On another note, i was adorabley festive last night, I will post the pictures when i get them from the glove.
When I got home last night, I couldnt sleep, and I had to be up at 645 anyway to go this job thingy and...
and i think i am pretty much solid for this gig. i have to fill the paperwork out for the background check and i can start training on the 27th. that shouldnt be a problem since its a much easier background check than getting a secret clearance, which i already got.
the part that sucks is that its 5 weeks of 5pm to 11pm mon-fri of unpaid training, which sucks... but, its a bunch of certifications and shit that cost a few grand to get otherwise, so it works out either way. and it's like a 1500 cash bonus when you finish, so I won't complain toooo much.
the company has a new contract at the EPA bldg that they are opening in Crystal City the begining of May, and its paying like $21/hr to start, and they said we could get overtime and shit.
So looks like I will be stickin around here for a while after all, provided this doesnt fall through.
