I'm trying to paint with acrylics. Wow, it's so different than oils. I have to change everything I've learned, but I think my paintings will be so much richer if I stick with it. Mastery of the transparent layers and textures instead of wet on wet mixing is the goal. Of course this is part of an effort to save a few more brain cells, not that I ever use the ones that I have, but I'd like to remember how the rocking chair works when it's time.
