Seriously a good way to meet people from SG is to join some local groups and others that share common interests with you , 99% of my friends are from SGCT and we used to have weekly events plus a weekly night at a local goth - fetish club , and two nights a month we have an indie dance night and a goth night at the Webster underground , we trimmed the events back to 7 a month now , soon to be 8 events with our after hours movie night at a local theater . Even though I don't have a giant friends list , I have many from the various groups I belong to , and we only communicate on the respective group pages , my core group of friends are the ones I see two to three times a month minimum .

Our best event is our weekly Wednesday night event called FLUX , the event is hosted at Gotham City Cafe , which is the largest night club in the Mass , Connecticut , and NewYork area , though the place is primarily a gay bar the Wednesday night FLUX party is a goth - bondage fetish night , with a live bondage show and industrial house music , there is even a bondage cross for patrons to play on
