well in utter disreguard to yesterday's update - today i will talk about minutea!
i've just noticed how 'all the world is green' by tom waits is a far more amazing song than i'd given it credit. it's now right up there with 'dirt in the ground' as my current favorite.
i've also noticed how great an mp3 player amaroK is. this is something lacking on unix based systems.
i also don't want to go to work tomorrow, partly because it involves waking up in five hours and riding half an hour into town with 'the roomate from hell', but also because it involves sitting in a fleurescent lit, overbearingly hot room for six hours with nobody to talk to. my will to read or do anything productive in any way whatsoever normally burns away after four minuets under those lights and i spend the day drinking guilt filled pints at the bar downstairs or smoking right outside the door where i can just barely see if anyone's gone up the stairs. all my friends in town are gone to massachusetts tomorrow for the Institute for Anarchist Studies meeting and I'll just be bored and hungry. i will, however, while waiting a further four hours for aformentioned housemate to get off work and drive me home, develop some pictures i've been waiting months for, and get my new tattoo priced up. so yeah. there's that. always a brightside and whatnot (christ, that's perhaps the most sarcastic thing i ever say, which just doesn't come accross in this medium, so trust me).
also! another good thing! i may be able to rent a room for myself and nadja at my friend's flat in jersey while i'm looking for a place to live/roommate closer to the city. it'd be great to see her again, and i'd be close enough to do whatever i wanted, and wouldn't have to immediatly leap into Enormous Rent Land. So anyway. I'm putting off getting into bed because I know I wont be able to sleep and will just get hot and frustrated, but any road up, i should go now. goodbye faceless people who probably aren't really reading this.
