Well, it's been an eventful week for me....
On Friday we got our annual bonus from Staples, for me it was $315. On Saturday I gave my letter of resignation, with my last day as April 6th, the before I start full time at my new job.

Then yesterday I had a disagreement with my GM (who has only worked at our location for a few weeks) over a customer issue. It ended up with us yelling at each other, him shouting "Well if its going to be this way, than just punch out and never come back!" and me saying "Fine." and walking out.
Sooo, my two solid years of service at Staples, not to mention the only job I've ever had, ends with no references for my resume.
I wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing, throwing away my only reference and leaving on such bad terms, but it just didn't feel right to grovel and apologise after he was the one being a dickhead.
I felt better today though, especially when a co-worker's room-mate's brother came up to me on the street to congratulate me and tell me how cool it was to quit that way. I guess word travels fast!

We also had a "plumbing emergency" in our fourplex this week. Ten days ago the toilet started overflowing for no reason and the tub filled up with drain-water. The landlord called in the plumber, and the problem was fixed.
But then on Tuesday the toilet starts bubbling again and the tub fills up with a foot and a half for sewage water. Not just tub water, but poop!
Apparently there was a blockage in the city's part of our sewer system, that was 74 feet away from our toilet, and thats why the plumber didn't get it. So all day Tuesday, every time anyone in any of the four units drained a sink or flushed a toilet, it went straight into our bathtub.
How pleasant. So the city came in on Wednesday and ripped up a huge piece of ashphalt in our alley to fix the pipes. Thank goodness, because after the back up we hadn't been allowed to shower, do dishes or flush the toilet.

In less disgusting news, I got a new tattoo today:
A little pink bow behind my right ear.
