So I just got an early Christmas present from my dad:

She's a one year old Manx who has apparently lived at the SPCA for her whole life.

The story:
We were going to get a kitten from the pound, but after I filled out the paper-work, they told me they needed to talk to my landlord before they would let me take the kitten home. Although I know he won't evict us for having a cat, he would never give permission, so I was so disappointed.

Anyrate, we ended up going to PetCetera and finding this kitty, and my Dad filled out the paperwork. Even though kittens are cute, I'm glad we didn't get the one from the pound. This one has such great character in her face, and I love that she has no tail. It changes her whole appearance.

The Part Where I Ask For Help:
We don't like the name the pound gave her, but the boy and I are having an awful time coming up with a name. I want it to reference either her lack of a tail, or her two-toned face. I was hoping to give her a literary or history based name, maybe a character who wore a mask, or was two-faced (literally or figurativly) or even a characted who was a harliquin (and would have worn the two toned suit)

The best we found so far was Janus (a two-faced god), but that just makes me think of Chandler's girlfriend with the annoying laugh.
